Flashback Friday: The Mattie James Consistency Challenge

20 out of 20.

[insert applause here]

At the beginning of July, I joined the Mattie James Consistency Challenge, which encouraged bloggers to post one article, every weekday, until the end of the month. And I made it. This was no small feat, being that I have not blogged consistently since my birthday...last August.

I will not use this time to rehash why I have not been able to be consistent, but this challenge has definitely reignited my passion for writing. Writing is therapeutic and it is how the Lord ministers to me and hopefully, on some small scale, minsters to you.

If I'm honest, some of the posts were done at the absolute last minute, and definitely not perfectly executed, but I pushed through. God was able to show me how much I can get done with if 1. I plan and 2. if I stop doubting the gift he put inside of me. I tried my best to not focus on how many people were actually reading what I shared (I don't think many did). BUT I kept my attention on sharing the gospel through the lens of my life, so that regardless of analytics, God would be glorified.

The bottom line:

I am equipped for this. The best--no. but I am EQUIPPED!

Sis, I will be taking a short hiatus, my brain and my fingers need a break. Once I regroup, I'll be back to share more about how God is adjusting my crown (I can guarantee you it will not be everyday, that challenge has ended)

Whatever you do [whatever your task may be], work from the soul [that is, put in your very best effort], as [something done] for the Lord and not for men,  knowing [with all certainty] that it is from the Lord [not from men] that you will receive the inheritance which is your [greatest] reward. It is the Lord Christ whom you [actually] serve. Colossians 3:23-24
